This posts explains how Buyers and sellers can exchange product-related messages on the ToolDay platform.
Product Listing "Contact Seller" Option
When a buyer has a question about a product they are able to “Contact Seller” from the product listing as shown (note the yellow button at the bottom of the screen).

Buyer Redirect to Account Registration or Sign-in Authentication Options
When a buyer clicks the "Contact Seller" button, they are taken to a screen to either login, register an account, or if logged in already, are taken to their ToolDay portal.
Buyers must provide an email that will be used to create a ToolDay account. The setup requires 2FA (2 factor authentication - in other words, an email is sent to the email provided to verify it is a working email that the customer owns).

The registration process creates an account on ToolDay that the buyer can use immediately to message the seller. It also can be used by the buyer to become a seller at some point in the future (should they so desire) with additional configuration.
This account allows the buyer and seller to engage in in-app conversations.
For Buyers/Customers
Creating an account allows you to message back and forth with sellers within the ToolDay marketplace. With additional setup, you can also sell on ToolDay from the same account. If you want to sell on ToolDay, watch this video for guidance on configuring your account further.
The Messaging App
Once logged in to your ToolDay Portal (AKA the Sellers Portal), the customer and the seller have the same interface for messaging. Click on "Messages" in the top gray menu as shown to open the messaging app.

ToolDay also sends copies of these messages to both Buyer & Seller to their registered emails.
